For repairs, servicing and refurbishment of everything from high rise passenger lifts and factory goods lifts to disabled access lifts and dumbwaiters, we’ve got you covered.

Breakdowns

We understand the importance of a working lift and the impact that breakdowns have. That’s why we’re available 24/7, and no matter where we are or what we’re doing when you call, our engineers will do their utmost to get to you the very same day.

We carry a wide variety of parts and spares to minimise downtime, and when we do need to order parts we have longstanding relationships with a large network of suppliers with excellent track records on delivery times and stock availability. Getting your lift back up and running as quickly as possible is our first priority.

Servicing

We can provide routine scheduled lift servicing, statutory LOLER inspections and certification for commercial and industrial customers. We also provide LOLER and PUWER inspections, servicing, commissioning and repairs on a wide range of lifting and mobility equipment. See here for more details.

Modernisation & Refurbishment

We offer a comprehensive lift refurbishment service to improve the reliability and safety of existing passenger lifts, platform lifts and goods lifts, to ensure full compliance with the current BS EN81-80 rules for the improvement of safety of existing lifts.

Like any machine lifts have a service life, and the longer they go on utilising outdated parts and systems the more difficult it becomes to source spare parts and find technicians with the training and experience to work on them. An unreliable lift is no good to anyone. The financial cost of never ending callouts and repairs, not to mention the downtime and the impact it can have on your business or quality of life, can cause real damage.

Working alongside our partners at Cord Controls Ltd we can provide bespoke control system replacements for any make or model of lift. These are state of the art, fully compliant and CE marked systems using readily obtainable components to future-proof your equipment. Beyond electrical refurbishment we can also provide full hydraulic/drive system refurbishment, replacement/refurbishment of existing car and landing doors and complete modernisation of safety devices and systems, as well as implementing environmental controls such as cooling and improving safe access where necessary.

Before undertaking a refurb we look at all aspects of the lift to determine what needs to be replaced and which parts are still serviceable or repairable. Some jobs require that virtually everything be replaced, leaving only the original mechanical structures in place, while others require much less work and expense to dramatically improve safety and reliability. Our engineers will present you with the best and most cost effective solutions going forward.

Refurbishments typically take around 1-2 weeks depending on the complexity of the job. Understandably, for some customers, this much downtime is not possible to work around. In many cases we are able to keep the existing lift systems in place until we are close to finishing. This often allows us to return the lift to service for scheduled time periods while the refurb is ongoing. We will work with you at every turn to minimise the impact of the work as much as possible.
